- How does cavity wall insulation extraction work?
- We drill a controlled pattern of small access holes, then use industrial vacuum extraction to remove failed or damp insulation from the cavity. The wall is cleared, inspected with a borescope, and holes are made good to match the existing masonry.
- Do you use lime mortar or cement mortar for repointing?
- Both. The correct choice depends on the age and construction of the wall. We assess the existing mortar and substrate, then specify a lime or cement mix that is compatible so the repointing performs correctly and doesn't damage the masonry.
- Is your work guaranteed and are you insured?
- Yes. All workmanship is guaranteed in writing and we carry £1 million public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request before work begins.
